Astrid Ekelmans had a great 3rd place this morning in the 1st skeleton qualification race for Youth Olympic Games. With the best start (more then 0.20 faster then the rest) in the field, she came back from a 5th place after the first run, improved her start slightly and overtook 2 girls, to end in a podium place behind two Germans.
